ŠKODA Rally Team Italia (SRTI) took part in the 2009 Monza Rally Show with a very special all-Italian line-up: rally driver Piero Longhi and TV star Capitan Ventosa as his codriver.
Piero Longhi has always been a key protagonist of the Monza Rally Show, having participated in several editions over the past years. During the 2008 edition he had driven the Subaru Impreza WRC S10 2004 of the Aimont Racing Team which, in those days, was co-owned by Pierfrancesco Zanchi: the current team principal of ŠKODA Rally Team Italia....
2010 BOLOGNA MOTOR SHOW
For ŠKODA: "There is no show like Motor Show"
As part of its strong commitment to motorsport, ŠKODA participated to the 35th edition of the Bologna Motor Show which was held at Bologna Fiere from December 4 to 12, 2010.
ŠKODA Rally Team Italia took centre stage during the nine-day event, along with Norwegian driver Andreas Mikkelsen: the official driver of ŠKODA Rally Team Italia and ŠKODA UK Motorsport for the 2011 season.
During the Bologna Motor Show, not only was the ŠKODA Rally Team Italia Fabia S2000 car displayed at the ŠKODA stand, located in the Volkswagen Group pavilion, but it also starred on the Arena track, thanks to Mikkelsen's extraordinary performance....
2011 GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED
ŠKODA protagonist of the legendary "Made in UK" event
ŠKODA enjoyed a starring role during the 2011 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed: not only was the Czech car manufacturer the official partner of the event but it also celebrated its 110th motorsport anniversary, directly supporting some spectacular events such as the Goodwood Forest Rally Stage.
Centred on the theme "Racing Revolutions - Quantum leaps that shaped motorsport", the 18th edition of Goodwood Festival of Speed was held in the grounds of Goodwood House, West Sussex, England from June 30 to July 3, 2011.
The 2011 edition attracted over 150,000 visitors with Goodwood welcoming over 200 cars and 100 top drivers, riders and famous faces to the world's greatest celebration of motor sport and car culture....
