ŠKODA Rally Team Italia and Andreas Mikkelsen has won the 2011 Trofeo Rally Terra after finishing third on Rally Conca d'Oro, the sixth and final round of the series in Sicily last weekend.

Co-driven by Ola Fløene, 22-year old Mikkelsen rounded out a hugely successful season at the wheel of his ŠKODA Rally Team Italia Fabia Super 2000, which included winning three of the five events he contested and scoring a total of 110 points.

Rally Conca d'Oro took place near Sicily's capital Palermo with the crews completing nine special stages totalling 100....

ŠKODA Rally Team Italia and Andreas Mikkelsen will enter the Rally Conca d'Oro in Sicily from October 28/29 aiming to clinch the coveted Italian Gravel Trophy (TRT) title in his ŠKODA Fabia Super 2000 car managed and prepared by Pierfrancesco Zanchi's team.

Co-driven by his fellow countryman Ola Fløene, the 22-year old ŠKODA star is in a strong position to become this year's Italian Gravel Trophy champion, as he leads the drivers' standings on 87.5 points after winning the previous round, the Azzano Rally, earlier this month....

ŠKODA Rally Team Italia and Andreas Mikkelsen will start the Azzano Rally on Saturday (October 1) in a bid to keep his challenge for the Trofeo Rally Terra (Italian Gravel Rally Trophy) firmly on course.

Fresh from his charging run to second overall on the Intercontinental Rally Challenge-counting Rallye Sanremo on mountain roads overlooking Italy's Liguria coastline last Saturday, Mikkelsen will be back on gravel for his fourth appearance in the hugely competitive TRT series.

Having missed the last round, Rally San Crispino, due to a clashing IRC event, Mikkelsen is second in the drivers' standings, eight points behind established Italian rally ace Andrea Aghini....

Andreas Mikkelsen has won the Rally San Marino putting him in the lead in Trofeo Rally Terra (Italian Gravel Rally Championship) in his ŠKODA Rally Team Italia Fabia Super 2000.

The 22-year-old Norwegian, showed championship-winning confidence, pace and strategy from the offset, and at the end of the first day led the 127,42 km-long rally by 11.5 seconds ahead of second place Baldacci, a young local driver from San Marino....
